A personal realisation
What we thought was right…
Hi, I’m Niels, the founder of Sautille. Like many, I grew up wearing stiff, tight shoes that were supposed to “support” my feet.
Later on, when I started having foot problems, I saw specialists, and that’s when I realised those shoes were part of the problem. What I really needed back then were shoes that let feet form and strengthen naturally.
That’s what inspired me to create Sautille.

With help from specialists, podiatrists, designers and real parents, we created a simple, practical and respectful shoe.
Flexible, lightweight, easy to slip on, all-terrain, washable… every detail is designed to support first steps, never restrict them.

Growing together
After many prototypes and just as many adjustments, Sautille found its shape.
Today, we’re a small (but ambitious) team of six, supported by a community of over 27,000 parents.
