Do they fit all foot shapes?
Do they fit all foot shapes?
Yes – Sautille shoes are designed to suit all types of little feet: slim, chubby, narrow or chunky.
Thanks to their adjustable fit and flexible material, they offer proper support while following the natural shape of the foot – never squeezing it.
For specific medical needs (e.g. foot deformities, instability, postural concerns), we strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional such as a podiatrist or paediatric specialist before ordering.
Why don’t you offer different widths?
Why don’t you offer different widths?
We made the choice to offer a single fit, carefully designed to sit between standard and wide.
With flexible materials and a fully adjustable hook-and-loop strap, the shoe naturally adapts to your child’s foot, ensuring a comfortable fit for both narrower and wider feet.
Are they suitable for rainy days?
Are they suitable for rainy days?
Yes, the water-resistant synthetic leather upper keeps feet dry during light rain or damp walks.
For very wet or muddy days, we recommend wearing wellies instead.
Can they be worn in winter?
Can they be worn in winter?
The Barefoot Toddler Trainers are designed for year-round wear. During colder months, we recommend pairing them with warm, thick socks to keep your child’s feet cosy.
For very low temperatures, snow, or heavy rain, waterproof winter boots or wellies will provide better insulation.
Don’t toddlers outgrow their shoes too quickly?
Don’t toddlers outgrow their shoes too quickly?
Between ages 1 and 3, most children need to size up three to four times a year.
At this stage, the shoes they wear have a lasting impact on how their feet grow, but with barefoot shoes being more expensive than average, frequent size changes can quickly add up.
That’s why we created Keep Growing, our loyalty programme designed by parents, for parents. Each time your child outgrows their pair, the next size costs significantly less, with a few surprises along the way.
Every order also includes a printed sizing guide to help you know exactly when it’s time to size up.
